What
is Catalog Composer?
Catalog Composer is a product data management and publishing tool that allows
companies to create and update print, CD, and Web-based catalogs. Catalog
Composer consists of the Media Master module, which provides structure to your
database of catalog content, and various other modules used to create the
different types of catalogs your company requires.

Can
I use my current data from other systems with Catalog Composer?
Yes. We can provide a custom interface to move data and content from your
current system into Catalog Composer. This can be a one-time feed or ongoing as
part of a nightly/weekly update, such as pricing updates to your products.
Information from Microsoft Office applications, such as Word or Excel, can be
imported into the Catalog Composer’s database -- Media
Master.

What
type of hardware/software is required for Catalog Composer?
Catalog Composer supports Microsoft platforms and technologies. Specifically,
Microsoft Windows environments and SQL are used on the database side. Also,
MSDE is supported for our entry systems. On the printing side, we support Adobe
InDesign. Contact us if you would like

What
types of companies are using Catalog Composer?
A typical customer will be one that that has one or more of these goals or
concerns: Wishes to have a more efficient process for the creation and
maintenance of catalogs to market their products, wants to target their catalog
marketing into other countries and or support multiple language formats for
their catalogs, and has a need for a database that supports unlimited
attributes for a product. These attributes include images, audio, mates/relates
relationships, competitor information, etc. Typical users also have a wide
range of products to display both in quantity and type and want to use one
database to create different formats of catalogs.

What
is the pricing for your product?
Products are priced individually based on your need. Catalog Composer is a
modular solution comprised of the database tool and the other modules necessary
to create the other catalog options for print, CD and Web, as well as our
language translation tools. A quotation can be provided to you once your
specific goals and requirements are determined. We do provide an entry version
of the product and a company/enterprise version for more complex requirements.
